Non-Recyclable Items:
- Anything in the above list that is not soiled or wet
- Styrofoam
- Wax Paper
- Pizza Boxes
- Any Plastic without #1-7
- Tempered Glass

Composting

Accepted Compost Items:
- Food and Vegetable Scraps
- Coffee Grounds and Paper Filters
- Paper Tea Bags (remove staples)
- Eggshells (crushed)
- Plant stalks/twigs
- Dry leaves
- Shredded (non glossy, non colored) paper and brown bags
- Shredded Cardboard (no tape or wax coating)
- Newspapers
- Compostable food ware
Non-Compostable Items:
- Dairy Products
- Bones
- Meat
- Cooked food
- Produce stickers
- Glossy or coated paper
- Treated wood
- Fast-growing weeds or plants
- Certain types of plant waste like black walnut leaves, as these can be toxic to plants
- Coal and coal ash
- Diseased or infested plants
- Any plant matter that has been treated with chemicals
